The nervous system consists of two main parts: the central nervous system (CNS) and the peripheral nervous system (PNS). The CNS consists of the brain and spinal cord while the PNS consists of the nerves that branch from the spinal cord and extend to all parts of the body.
The brain sends messages through the spinal cord and nerves to control the movement of the muscles and the function of internal organs. The spine serves as protection for the nervous system but interference in the communication of these messages can occur when misalignments of the spine are present. These are termed 'subluxations'.
Through a complete chiropractic analysis subluxations are detected and corrected. A spine clear of misalignments functions at 100% and allows for full expression of health.
The key to health starts with a clear spine.
